Here begins a new blog, specifically for Practically Shameless Press.

As of today (Wednesday May 2, 2007), 115 advance copies of "Shameless" have been sold. Approximately 25 colleagues and friends are reading excerpts for a testimonial.

Although I've received a lot of very positive feedback about the title "Shameless," there is some concern that it doesn't describe well enough what the book is about. There may also be people for whom it's a turn-off, but I'm less concerned about them than I am about the people who would find the book fascinating but won't pick it up if its title won't convey its message.

To test-market a new title, I will contact some friends and colleagues, perhaps after creating duplicate mockups of a book cover with the old and new titles.
