230 sold

I arrived home to find 81 more orders for advance copies of the book, and some donations as well. I'm so very grateful! The number of advance copies sold so far is now 230.

I'm also hearing some very affirming testimonials from friends and colleagues. Though they're not formal yet, with names or initials following, I've added them to the Testimonials page. One colleague told me in person that she picked it up and had read about 50 pages before she realized it. That's the kind of reaction I was hoping to hear, I tried to draw the reader in and not let them go.

A few people have responded to my request for test-marketers, and have asked what I mean by that. We're trying out a few ideas for new subtitles, and even the title of the book. I'm going to create a link, and will post it here, and the link will go to a page showing the various choices and a way to respond easily. Although there is a lot of science behind real test marketing, this will be more informal, but I hope to gain some useful feedback from it. I think I'll offer two ways to review the choices, one using only words and the other using mockups of book covers. The mockups will be very far from scientific, because of course with different titles, the design would most likely be somewhat different, as would the font.
