Don Hynes' poem about a river
As you know if you've read Practically Shameless, the book ends with an image of my frog totem sitting on a riverbank feeling contented.
This morning I received a book order from Don Hynes, a longtime friend of my brother Cliff's. I noticed that his order came from Slender Arrow Press, so I looked up the website, and there was this featured poem, "Her Passing Beauty," about the Willamette River in Oregon. I love the image of the river showing the nape of her neck to the wind!
(That's not a permalink, so if you click on it some time from now it may be a different featured poem.)
