I've added some excerpts from Dad's war tapes to the site, at this page,

They're excerpts from interviews my younger brother Lee did with Dad in the late 1980s, ending within a few months of Dad's death in January 1990.
The first six excerpts are on topics mentioned in <I>Practically Shameless</I>, and the last three are on other topics I think you'll enjoy.
In some places, Dad's voice is quite low. If these excerpts are too soft for you to hear, please contact me, and I'll modify them to make them easier to hear.
