I got a pleasant surprise today to see a deposit from Amazon.com in the Press' bank account -- the first such money received for the sale of Practically Shameless at Amazon.

I'd been led to expect payment after no less than 90 days, and since the book went on sale January 10th, this is only half that length of time, which is very welcome.

I also want to say that I've received excellent technical support from Amazon's Advantage support people. They respond quickly and expertly to my various questions.

Their people in the "Search Inside This Book" feature also respond quickly and expertly but, alas, the book's search function still isn't working after more than 3 months. They've finally put in a trouble ticket with Amazon's engineering staff. I hope they figure it out, it's disappointing to say the least to have that feature advertised and not functioning. A search on my first name doesn't even work!
