Roots of paranoia - addendum
In the entry I posted just minuted ago, Roots of Paranoia, I forgot to mention my reason for that title.
If paranoia is believing that everybody is against you, perhaps it begins with an experience in a person's life in which it does appear as if everyone is against them. In my case, I was faced with a room full of doctors and nurses, and to my two-and-a-half-year-old brain, none of them was on "my side," they were all "against me."
It would be interesting to know if every adult who becomes paranoid has an experience like that in their past.
